In addition to discussion, he gave each attendee charts of the considerations necessary to ensure a solid relationship and contract with agents and publishers, and a sample book publishing contract. His scope is so vast and he was so well-received that he has been invited to present a seminar on legal issues at the Marin Branch's annual conference, The Writers Way, held at the Marin Headlands near Sausalito on October 4, 2003.
