"The Company We Keep: Writers and the Characters They Create"

A lifelong resident of Sonoma County, Rob Loughran currently reside in Windsor. His novel High Steaks won the 2002 New Mystery Award and has been turned into a screenplay that is currently being shopped around tinsel town. He also won a National Poetry Award in 2003. Rob has published nearly 200 articles in diverse magazines: "Inside Sports", "Omni", "Men's Fitness", "Mothering", "Fitness USA", "Ladies Circle", "California Wild", "American Brewer", "Trail Runner", "Heartland USA", "Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine", "Boy's Life", "The New York Times", "The Religious Teacher's Journal", "Ad Astra", "Wines and Vines", "Vine Times", "Woman's World", "Vineyard and Winery Management", "Rosebud", "Fitness Runner", "The New Writer" and others, but his career goal of being published in "Mad Magazine" still eludes him. He's marketing his latest mystery novel Tantric Zoo and his Day Book for Writers: 365 Days of Quotations and Inspiration.
